Writing content that caters to the needs of your readers helps you build a loyal readership. At the same time, people are more likely to share content that they find useful.
Keep it easy on the eyesDo you remember rolling your eyes when your college professor handed you your readings and seeing page after page of never-ending text? Yeah, that’s exactly how readers feel when they see too much text in one go.
Keep your content easy on the eyes by limiting your paragraphs to about 3-5 lines of text. If you are talking about a highly technical subject, try using infographics to help you explain. Adding pictures and/or videos also help increase the visual appeal of your content.
Get the conversation rollingEnd your piece by asking your readers a question(s). This helps you gauge how well your readers understood you. It also allows you to pick their brain, helping you identify the topic of your next piece.
